Scripture text: Proverbs 2:1-11
King Solomon writes about the value of godly wisdom. Godly wisdom comes directly from God and is invaluable in making godly decisions. Wisdom is a collection of wise sayings that teaches and prepares listeners for living godly lives. Proverbs lists some actions that if obeyed, will lead to a reward. Life is full of decisions; what to do, when to do it, how it’s done etc. When one seeks wisdom from God, He helps us to make the right decision. But this comes from having a personal and intimate relationship with God. How’s your relationship with God?
Church wisdom comes from God and the fear of God is the beginning of receiving godly wisdom. Let us lean not unto our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge God’s wisdom for making decisions.
