Zechariah, one of the Minor Prophets, encourages the Jews to rebuild the Temple after their return from exile. Because the temple was destroyed and the city laid in ruins by King Nebuchadnezzar.
The prophet reminds the people of God’s love for them, and of His promise to restore His people Judah to live with them. God promised them peace, hope, gladness and economic growth, and replace their sorrows with joy. What a wonderful promise?
