James a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ writes to the believers who are scattered abroad living outside of Jerusalem. Although they were scattered, they still remained connected to their culture and commitment to Christ. James encourages them to count it all joy when they fall into various kinds of temptation. Knowing the trying of their faith produces patience. James wanted the saints not to despair because of trials and hardships, because they will make them become wise and productive disciples for Christ.
Church, let us as believers in Christ, learn to count our trials and tribulations as joy, because God works in them to make us wiser and productive servants for Him. If we lack wisdom, ask God who gives to us freely and abundantly. God gives us wisdom and ability so we can apply knowledge to our lives daily. If you still lack patience, means you still lack wisdom. Exercise your faith and seek God’s wisdom so you will have patience.
