Scripture Printed Text: I Corinthians 13:1-13

The Apostle Paul, write to the Corinthian church about the effectiveness of divine love. He uses the Greek word agape for the word love, which means to have love for someone or something, based on sincere appreciation and high regard.  Paul tells the Corinthians that love is essential in everything and it enriches the spiritual gifts and gives them value. For without love, the gifts have very little or no value, because the will pass away while love endures forever. We are told in verses 4-8 what love is, and what love is not. He summed up in vs7 love bears, believes, hopes and endures all things.

Church, let practice the God kind of love, because nothing else can replace the love of God nor for His people.  Whatever we do for Christ and others are meaningless unless our service is motivated by real love. Is your ministry for Christ and serving others motivated by love? Remember; love is what love does! Let us demonstrate our love for God when we show our love for one another. Genuine love for God should motivate us in everything we do.
